Biographical Info

Mrs. Jessica Knott is a native of Johnston County and currently resides in Clayton with her husband, two children, and goldendoodle Hattie Mae. She has a BS in elementary education from East Carolina University and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in educational leadership. She joined the Southside family in the fall of 2022 as a second grade teacher. This year she will be working alongside Mrs. Davis as she prepares to take on the role of elementary principal. Her previous experience includes public education, homeschooling her own children, and working in the preschool setting. In addition she has worked as a teacher’s assistant, taught summer school, and tutored a variety of grade levels. Mrs. Knott and her family are members of Cross Point Community Church of Knightdale. There she serves on the Women’s Ministry Team, helping to plan and facilitate events for the women of the church and surrounding community. She also serves their First Time Guests.
