Biographical Info

Mr. Johnathan Solomon is married with ten-year-old twins. After graduating high school in 2001, he served in the United States Marine Corps as infantryman in the Iraq War. After Mr. Solomon’s military service, he returned home and began a career in law enforcement. His calling to pastoral ministry cannot be considered anything other than a clear example of divine intervention. After his conversion at 26 years of age, he began feeling a push into a preaching and teaching ministry. In March 2021, he left full-time law enforcement as a major crimes detective to focus on ministry. Mr. Solomon served as pastor for Newton Grove Baptist Church from March 2010 until January 2022. He currently serves as lead pastor for Powhatan OFWB Church located in Clayton, NC.
